Maimonides Blood Donation Center

Maimonides Blood Donation Center is the blood donor program operated by Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Located on the third floor of the Administration Building at the medical center's main campus, the center accepts walk-in whole blood donations without an appointment, directly supporting patients treated at Maimonides. Donors can also give replacement blood for a family member, contribute toward their own upcoming surgery through autologous donation, or participate in apheresis donations using TRIMA technology, which separates and collects specific blood components such as platelets, red cells, or plasma. The center also supports community blood drives by supplying staff, medical supplies, advertising materials, and refreshments, and can arrange transportation for small groups wishing to donate at its Brooklyn location.
